FLORIDA GEOGRAPHIC DATA LIBRARY DOCUMENTATION
VERSION 2003, RELEASED NOVEMBER, 2002.
TITLE: GREENWAYS TRAILS PRIORITIZATION PROJECT EQUESTRIAN TRAILS PRIORITIES
Geodataset Name: EQPRIO Geodataset Type: SHAPE Geodataset Feature: POLYGON
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This dataset contains equestrian trail opportunities prioritization results from the Office of Greenways and Trails Prioritization Project. The original equestrian trail opportunities were identified in the Office of Greenways and Trails Implementation Plan adopted by the Florida Legislature in 1999. The Florida Greenways and Trails Council approved the trail prioritization results contained in this dataset in May 2001. Equestrian trail segments include both trails exclusively reserved for equestrian users and multi-use trails open to equestrian use, hiking and biking. It is assumed that equestrian trails are unpaved.
