DATA LINEAGE SUMMARY: 








This data was obtained in shapefile format from the Florida Fish and Wildlife 
Conservation Commission-Fish and Wildlife Research Institute Marine 
Resources GIS Corporate Data CD Feb 2002 by the GeoPlan Center.  
Dataset name was changed from fl_beach_names to bchnam.  When 
received, data was in the following projection:  Albers, Datum: NAD 83 
HPGN, Spheroid: GRS80, Units: Meters.
Process Date: 

GeoPlan, during the QA/QC process included the following aspects:
1.)Changed original file name from fl_beach_names to bchnam
2.)Added DESCRIPT item based on NAME
3.)Upcased all character records
4.)Dropped old coverage internal items: beach_name, beach_na_1, bio_, bio_id
