Abstract:
This data set represents springsheds for St Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD). A variety of different modeling techniques were used to derive these polygons. This data was originally downloaded in 10 different shapefiles from SJRWMD and merged into one layer. A unique metadata existed for each shapefile. This metadata is a combination of all metadatas. For more detailed information on each springshed it is recommended that you reference the original layers metadata from SJRWMD.

The purpose of this shape file was to delineate springsheds in the St Johns River Water Management District

Data downloaded in shapefile format from SJRWMD ftp site on 9/25/14: <ftp://secure.sjrwmd.com/disk2/geology/Springsheds.zip>
Data was originally in 10 different layers. GWPLIB.WEKIVA95_RECHAREA shapefile had multiple parts, the parts were dissolved into 1 polygon. All 10 layers were merged into 1 layer. The coordinate system was NAD_1983_HARN_UTM_Zone_17N. The merged layer was projected to Albers HARN and renamed to SJRWMD_SPRINGSHEDS_2013.
