USER NOTES:
This Dataset is the trail mode results as modified by Public (RGTF) Comment.
Please query the database using the CONNECT item (see above) in conjunction with the other greenways trailhead and trails datasets. These trailheads help connect Multi-Use Trails and Trailheads with more specific biking, hiking, or equestrian to create a network of trails types. Many times multi-use trails are the only connection between two hiking, biking, or equestrian trails.
This dataset should be used in conjunction with the Greenways Ecological and Recreational Trail Project. This dataset has low accuracy, because it is used primarily for mapping and general location only.
Pursuant to Chapter 260.0141 Florida Statutes: The Opportunities as illustrated by this data layer are intended to establish an informational framework for voluntary participation by citizens, private property owners and all levels of government subject to the following limitations:

DATA LINEAGE SUMMARY:
The GWMTHP spatial dataset has undergone significant change from its origin as a Bureau of Archaeological Research recommended trailheads dataset. Since its creation it has been edited for accuracy and content by GeoPlan Center staff, DEP Office of Greenways and Trails personnel, and Regional Greenways Task Force volunteers. The final version is considered a vision of potential multi-use trailheads that will connect a network of multi-use, biking, hiking, and equestrian trails throughout the state of Florida. It was digitized from hand drawn maps created by GeoPlan and DEP Staff.
